Scoot Boot wins Tasmanian Export Award for E-Commerce

Scoot Boot has been officially announced as Tasmania’s Export Award winner in the e-Commerce category, and is now a finalist in the National Export Awards this November.

The gala awards ceremony held in Launceston on Friday was attended by the Premier, the Hon Jeremy Rockliff MP, along with representatives of Austrade, AusIndustry and State Growth and leading export businesses vying for the 11 categories.

Accepting the award on Friday night, Scoot Boot Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Annette Kaitinis said; “We are innovators and disruptors in a 2000 year-old industry where horses have been shod. We’re offering healthier alternatives for horses right across the globe.”

This is the fifth time that Scoot Boot has won the Tasmanian Export Awards.

Since being recognised as Telstra’s Tasmanian Business of the Year in 2018, the company has grown exponentially to now supply wholesale and retail customers across almost 90 countries.

Scoot Boot will now contend for the Australian Export Awards to be held at Parliament House in Canberra on November 30.
