Shipping and Returns Policy
Scoot Boot Pty Ltd (Scoot Boot) will refund or replace any goods purchased on the Scoot Boot online store if they are found to be faulty, are the incorrect size, or you have changed your mind and wish to return your Scoots.
If you have purchased your Scoots through a stockist you will be subject to that stockist's returns policy.
When you fit your Scoots for the first time, you must ensure that your horse’s hooves are clean and that your horse is standing on a clean, dry surface. Use the one boot on each hoof to ensure sizing is correct. If your Scoots are marked or unclean you will incur a fee.
Return of Unopened Scoots
If you change your mind about the Scoots you have ordered from the Scoot Boot online store, and decide you no longer want them, your unopened Scoots can be returned to Scoot Boot for a refund or exchange upon the following conditions:
- Scoots are unopened and in their original condition
- Scoots are returned within 60 days of purchase
- Proof of purchase/order information is included in the return
Failure to adhere to these conditions may result in your exchange or refund being denied.
To return your Scoots please visit the website and complete the returns process located at the bottom of the home page.
Refunds will be processed in the same form that you originally paid for your order, as soon as practicable upon receipt of the returned product.
The total value of the refund will equal the payment made for the Scoots less delivery costs.

Return of Opened Scoots
Scoot Boot will offer a refund or exchange if you have opened your Scoots but only if the Scoots are faulty or are the incorrect size.
If you believe your Scoots are faulty or are the incorrect size you may request an exchange or refund of the opened Scoots upon the following conditions:
- Scoots are unmarked
- Scoots are in their original condition
- Scoots are returned with all accessories
- Scoots are returned within 60 days of purchase
- Proof of purchase/order information is included in the return
Failure to adhere to these conditions may result in your exchange or refund being denied.
If your Scoots are returned in an unclean condition you will incur a ($20AUD/$14USD/€13) cleaning fee. If you fail to return the accessories you will incur a ($30AUD/$20USD/€19) fee. If your Scoots are marked you will incur a ($50AUD/$35USD/€30) fee.

If your Scoots are faulty and you continue to use your Scoots after discovering the fault, it will be deemed that you have accepted your Scoots in their faulty condition. It may be difficult to determine if your Scoots are faulty, therefore Scoot Boot reserves the right to seek the opinion of the Scoot Boot manufacturer. If it is determined your Scoots are not faulty and are in a condition fit for their purpose, then you may be liable for any costs Scoot Boot incurs to return your Scoots to you. If it is determined that your Scoots are faulty, Scoot Boot will send you an email to confirm this and arrange a refund or exchange.

Scoot Boot Sizing Service
If Scoot Boot has provided sizing advice and the fit is incorrect, it will pay for the costs to exchange. You must first seek advice from sizing@scootboots.com before you exchange.
If sizing advice is provided by Scoot Boot but your Scoots are purchased elsewhere, Scoot Boot is not liable to pay for the costs to exchange.
If sizing images are provided of one hoof (and not two) and the size is incorrect for the hoof not depicted in the image, Scoot Boot is not liable to pay the costs to exchange.
Cancellations and Changes to Online Orders
After your order is placed and payment is made your order will be dispatched as soon as it has been processed. If you change your mind about your order and would like to either cancel or change it, please email Scoot Boot at scootboot@scootboots.com and quote your order number. If your Scoots have already entered the dispatch process your order will not be able to be changed or cancelled.
Information Provided at Time of Order
Check your details carefully before your order is processed. Scoot Boot will not accept liability for Scoots that are lost due to entering incorrect address information when placing your order.
Please ensure that you provide an appropriate delivery address during business hours where someone will be available to sign receipt of your order.
Incorrect Order
If you receive your order and it is incorrect please email Scoot Boot at scootboot@scootboots.com with your order number so that the correct order can be sent to you. You must provide evidence that you have sent the incorrect order back to Scoot Boot by emailing your shipping receipt to scootboot@scootboots.com before the correct order is sent to you. Your return must be accompanied with a receipt and your order must be returned in a new, unused, unmarked and re-saleable condition.
Scoot Boot will reimburse you the shipping costs to return your order.
Excessive Returns
All genuine return claims will be accepted and honoured. If Scoot Boot determines that any return claims are excessive or it appears that the returns policy is being manipulated or abused, Scoot Boot reserves its right to refuse to accept the return claim.
Delivery Times
The expected delivery time for orders within Australia is 2-4 business days from the time the order is placed. The expected delivery time for orders outside of Australia is 4- 7 business days from the time the order is placed.
Costs to Refund and Exchange
Delivery costs to refund or exchange are to be borne by the purchaser, except where the goods are faulty or if Scoot Boot has provided incorrect sizing advice.

Liability of Scoot Boot for Returned Orders
You are responsible for your returned order until it is received by Scoot Boot.
Goods and Services Tax
Scoot Boot is an Australian company and required by law to charge Goods and Services Tax on all orders shipped to customers within Australia.
International Taxes and Duties
Scoot Boot will pay all customs/duties and taxes when shipping retail orders.
