Following Scoot Boot’s recent success at the Australian Exporter of the Year Awards, the Tasmanian based manufacturer has taken out another major recognition in the APAC Insider’s Australian Made Awards.
Winning the Best Equine Accessories Manufacturer Award, Scoot Boot Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Annette Kaitinis, said the award was a coup for both her team and for Tasmania showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit and talent in the State.
“This award helps cement our global position as the Tech-Quine leaders as we continue to expand our business to supply to customers across 100 countries,” Ms Kaitinis said.
“We are seeing the demand for our premium hoof boots grow as education and awareness about the benefits for horses going barefoot advances across the world.”
Ms Kaitinis said Scoot Boot was a disruptor in the international market, not just with the use of technology in every part of the business, but also in disrupting the 2000-year-old tradition of nailing iron shoes into horses hooves.
“Barefoot is best for horses as they can live happier, healthier and longer lives. For each pair of Scoot Boots we sell, we know another equine will have a better life,” she said.
“We thank APAC Insider for this award recognition and their support in helping spread the awareness of Scoot Boots for the welfare of horses.”
