Thin sole solution

My new horse is barefoot, but ended up with a stone bruise. My farrier suggested a protective boot due to thin soles. Scoot Boots had the best design - especially the heel area to prevent chafing. I put them on, and he acted like it was another day at the office! So far he’s comfortable wearing them, and no new stone bruises!

This boot will be a wonderful way to save my boys feet

My boy has - well - terrible hoof walls. We can not put nails into them and he just destroys glue ons. These boots will give him the support he needs until we can get shoes back on. I would love to keep hm in them all the time but rated Dressage shows will not accept them to show in because they touch the hair line a the back of the hoof.

scoot boot

I was looking for a boot for my horses hind feet when she has reining sliding plates on for pasture turnout. the team at scoot boot were very helpful and very quick to reply to my emails. The boots worked out perfectly to fit over the sliding plates.

Great fit and support for my horse!

My horse is transitioning to barefoot and the Scootboots are a great support for him. They fit well and seem very comfortable, we’re doing flatwork, jumping and even cantering on a gravel track with no issues at all. My horse is noticeably happier wearing his Scootboots!

Secure Fit and my Horse Likes Them

His Legacy is a 10-year-old OTTB who came to me as a rehab project with terrible white line disease. With the help of a barefoot trimmer and an improved diet, Legacy has been able to stay barefoot and his hoof quality is much better. Being a TB, however, he really needs boots to protect his dainty thin-soled feet on the trails and cross country jumping. I've been using another brand of boot which worked o.k. on the trails, but they had proved insufficiently secure for jumping.

Scoot Boots had been recommended by a friend who said that they were secure enough for jumping. I started with a set of front boots to try them out, the app worked great for getting a size estimate, and the boots that came fit very well. They are quite secure even when jumping. Also, I really like the design of the trail gaiters for limiting rubbing on the heels, a problem I had seen with other boots. Most importantly, Legacy seems happy and comfortable wearing them both on the trails and in the arena.
