Scootboot Classics are designed by a farrier for the barefoot horse to allow free and natural movement across all terrain. Our boots are perfect for all riding disciplines and a dependable rehab and transition boot.

My go to boot

My first choice in hoof boots is always Scootboot.
No Velcro to gather seeds, easy on and off and easy to clean.
I have been able to use one of the boots for a horse that had an abscess hole to keep him comfortable while it fills in. A month so far and no rubs.
He gets a few hours daily to have it off air out and check for debris.
I have a pair in size 1-4.

So far so good!

Boot still fit good even after a fresh trim. My mare seems to really like them and doesn’t act nearly as tender footed when riding.

Im impressed

I needed something to get my horse between sets of shoes and truly, I thought if scoot boots made it 2 weeks I would be impressed.
We are going on 4+ weeks with turnout and trail rides and they are hanging in there. I could not be more impressed. My thoroughbred has thin hoof walls and thin soles and has a skill for throwing shoes. He is soft on hard or uneven ground. We have tried everything. His scoot boots have truly saved him. I can ride him between sets of shoes, yes even trotting and at the canter. They’ve held up to fly stomping and mud. I will be buying a second pair. At least.

Great for over sliders

These have been great for preventing my horse from slipping or pulling a shoe when he’s turned out, since he has sliders. The sizing process was easy and everyone was very helpful. No rubbing even when breaking them in.
